Cities in Ventura County struggle with fiscal crises

Just about every fiscal and monetary decision the federal government has made under President Barack Obama has been an attempt to fight the recession by getting money pumping through the clogged arteries of the economy. The Obama administration supports keeping interest rates close to zero; cutting taxes and offering tax credits for millions of people; and spending billions of dollars on roads, food stamps and anything else that might act as a stimulus.
