PALMDALE – The Palmdale Water District is threatening to take legal action if the city continues to encourage residents to oppose the district’s proposed water-rate increases. Contending the city’s actions violate state law, the district advised the city Tuesday to “cease and desist” or the water agency would seek a court order compelling the city to do so.
