Administrator Resigns From City of San Fernando

San Fernando City Administrator Jose Pulido is stepping down from that position to pursue other career opportunities. As the head of the management team for the east Valley city, Pulido helped bring in $36 million in competitive grants, developed a $14.5 million aquatics facility, leveraged over $300 million in new and planned investment, and improved the city’s bond rating. The City Council will meet to decide on appointing an interim administrator. “I am confident that the City Council will continue to move San Fernando forward and truly hope they can maintain the high bar of accomplishments previously set by its management team,” Pulido said. The resignation is the fourth from the city’s management team over the past six months. The other three were Finance Director Lorena Quijano, the assistant to the Public Works and Parks Director, and the City Engineer. Mark R. Madler
