The oil and gas division of Teledyne Technologies Inc. has received an agreement to provide products and services to support the offshore oil and gas business of FMC Technologies.
Terms of the deal between Thousand Oaks-based Teledyne and FMC were not disclosed.
Teledyne ODI and Teledyne D.G. O’Brien will supply interconnect products and Teledyne Cormon will supply corrosion, erosion and sensing products. Teledyne Scientific will develop high power and fiber optic technologies for new products used by FMC.
The agreement formalizes the relationship that Teleydne has with FMC engineering locations throughout the world, said Teledyne Chairman, President and CEO Robert Mehrabian.
“It will facilitate the introduction of new technologies to the offshore oil industry from Teledyne Scientific,” Mehrabian said in a prepared statement.
