Warner Bros. Entertainment will continue to co-produce and co-finance feature films with Village Roadshow Pictures Group as the two companies have extended their partnership for another five years.

Village Roadshow, an Australian independent production company, and the Burbank studio have collaborated on blockbuster hits including Academy Award animated picture winner "Happy Feet" and the "Sherlock Holmes," "Ocean's" and "Matrix" franchises.

Upcoming releases include "Gangster Squad" in January and Baz Luhrmann’s adaptation of “The Great Gatsby” in May.

"Working together, our companies have produced and released many popular and successful films, and we expect that to continue into the future with this agreement," said Jeff Robinov, president of Warner Bros. Pictures Group, in a prepared statement.
