Provision Interactive Technologies in Chatsworth signed an agreement to distribute its 3-D holographic displays in parts of Europe by a Finnish company. Terms of the deal between Provision Interactive and Stereoscape, headquartered in Helsinki, were not disclosed. Provision Interactive, a subsidiary of Provision Holding Inc. makes interactive 3-D holographic display technologies and software for both commercial and consumer applications. Stereoscape provides 3-D holographic projection, glasses-free autostereoscopic 3-D, and stereoscopic 3-D services, and 2-D to 3-D conversions. Stereoscape will handle the marketing and sales of Provision displays in the United Kingdom, Finland, Russia and Sweden. The two companies have worked together in the past on several projects. “Robust orders from Stereoscape show that they are eager to market and expand their 3-D digital media platform with Provision’s innovative products,” said Provision President and Chief Executive Curt Thornton in a prepared statement.
