Designed for active seniors. Plans include pool, community room, dog park and community garden. Status: Before planning commission. Retirement Community 23200 W. Sherman Way, Reseda Developer: Sherman Way-West Hills Partners LLC, Woodland Hills Project: Proposed four-story, 108,866-square-foot building with 200-units on a 2.52 acre site west of Woodlake Avenue. Amenities will include a recreation room, fitness room, library, computer room, courtyard and pool. Plans call for adjacent two-story, 68-unit assisted living facility. Status: Before planning commission. Hillcrest Project Northeast corner of Hillcrest and Lone Oak drives, Thousand Oaks Developer: Hydam Development Corp., Thousand Oaks Project: Proposed 98,600-square-foot, 125-unit assisted living facility on five acres that will be staffed 24 hours by nursing and administrative staff. Project cost estimated at $15 million. Status: Before planning commission. Assisted Living Complex 4415 Lakeview Canyon Road, Westlake Village Developer: One Eighty/Leisure Care LLC, Seattle Project: A three-story, 142,000-square-foot complex with 131 units for seniors. Status: Planned completion in 2015. Canby Woods 7238 Canby Ave., Reseda Developer: Thomas Safran & Associates, Los Angeles Project: A 98-unit. $24.2 million affordable senior housing development. Received financial assistance from L.A. Community Redevelopment Agency and Housing Department. Includes large community room, TV room, computer area and fitness center. One bedroom apartments run from $648 to $777, two bedrooms from $728 to $874. Status: Opened June 17.
