Sterling Venue Ventures, the company that operates the Canyon Club restaurant and performance venue in Agoura Hills, is opening a new location in Santa Clarita, according to the L.A. Daily News. The Agoura Hills company also operates the Saban Theatre in Beverly Hills and the Rose in Pasadena. The new venue in Santa Clarita is slated to open in September. It will seat 1,100 concert-goers and occupy the site of a former Red Robin restaurant at the Westfield Valencia Town Center, said the Daily News. The newspaper reported that Canyon Santa Clarita, the venue’s tentative name, will include a bar, VIP lounge and dinner service as well as a CaliBurger, a casual restaurant chain in which Chief Executive Lance Sterling owns the local franchising rights. Sterling opened the Rose last year, which also has a CaliBurger attached to it.
