Calabasas event ticket management firm InviteManager has entered into a partnership with Ticketmaster to use that company’s open platform for its clients to request and manage tickets to live events. Using the Ticketmaster platform streamlines the ticketing and client gifting process and makes it easier for companies to invite guests to events directly through their company’s app. InviteManager Chief Executive Tony Knopp said the partnership with Ticketmaster will revolutionize the way companies take out clients. “Together, InviteManager and Ticketmaster will make it incredibly simple for companies to manage their client entertainment for sporting events, concerts and other live entertainment,” Knopp said in a statement. “This is the future, and we are incredibly excited to be driving this dramatic ticketing evolution with Ticketmaster.” Ticketmaster is a subsidiary of Live Nation Entertainment Inc., in Los Angeles. Privately held InviteManager was founded in 2007 and has received $28.5 million in funding from Point Judith Capital in Boston, Kayne Partners in Los Angeles and other investors.
