Covercraft Leases Space in Valencia’s IAC Center

Covercraft, a maker of automotive covers and protectors, plans to relocate within Valencia to the new IAC Commerce Center, according to brokerage CBRE Group Inc. The Pauls Valley, Okla.-headquartered company signed a lease to take nearly 65,000 square feet within one of the three buildings recently constructed as part of Phase 1 in the eventual 1.3 million-square-foot IAC Commerce Center. When completed, the center will have nine buildings. Phase 1 buildings range in size from 93,600 square feet to 187,540 square feet. Covercraft will use the space to make and distribute vehicle and customized covers. CBRE’s Matt Dierckman arranged the deal on behalf of Covercraft. The first building in the 116-acre project, developed by International Airport Centers Inc. of Highland Park, Ill., was leased to Accurate Freight Systems, which took 52,000 square feet as expansion space in addition to its current facility in Valencia. Yair Haimoff, executive managing director for NAI Capital Inc., brokered the lease on behalf of Accurate. The IAC Commerce Center is a master-planned, 116-acre business park, located adjacent to the Valencia Commerce Center and about a mile northwest of the Interstate 5 and Highway 126 interchange.
