Cedar Oak Mixed-Use Coming to Old Town Camarillo

Aldersgate Investments LLC of Oxnard has a mixed-use project coming online in Camarillo by October or November. According to the Camarillo Acorn, the Cedar Oak development will add 23 apartment units and four ground-floor commercial spaces totaling more than 6,000 square feet to Camarillo’s Old Town district. The Ventura Boulevard complex is named after the intersecting roadways it will stand between: Cedar Drive and Oak Street. According to Aldersgate Director of Forward Planning Matt Mansi, the company is currently in the process of seeking tenants. NAI Capital’s Bruce Hamous, broker for the project’s retail component, said he would like to see restaurants or cafes move into the ground-floor storefronts. He added that these four spots, visible from the 101 freeway, are expected to attract passing motorists. Another 600 square feet at Cedar Oak will be devoted to an outdoor patio area for diners. The complex will have 44 underground parking spots.
