ISSquared Expands by Acquisition

Information technology firm ISSquared Inc. has acquired a similar company to extend its reach in the western United States. Financial terms of the deal between ISSquared in Westlake Village and Network Computing Architects Inc. in Bellevue, Wash., were not disclosed. The transaction brings to ISSquared offices in Washington, Oregon, Texas and California and more than 1,000 small- to mid-sized business customers. ISSquared specializes in IT security and infrastructure. Network Computing was founded in 1992 and provides network management, IT security solutions and telecommunication carrier services to businesses. ISSquared Chief Executive Bala Ramaiah said the deal brings together two companies known for delivering superior performance and customer satisfaction. “Together, we are in a stronger position to provide better value and a comprehensive range of products and services to our customers in an evolving technology market,” Ramaiah said in a statement.
