Insurance Company Signs 50,000-Square-Foot Lease in Calabasas

Rising Realty Partners has committed Republic Indemnity to a 50,000-square-foot lease at The Park Calabasas in Calabasas. Republic Indemnity, an affiliate of Great American Insurance Group specializing in workers’ compensation, will relocate from its current Encino headquarters. The Park Calabasas, a multi-tenant office campus with 225,000 square feet of rentable space at 4500 Park Granada, has a natural running creek and open spaces for corporate events. CBRE Group Inc.’s Matthew Heyn represented the landlord. Wayne Hach and Greg Frankovich of Newmark Knight Frank represented the tenant. “Republic Indemnity has been a part of the Southern California community for more than 75 years and we are proud that they have chosen The Park Calabasas to be their new home,” Rising Chief Exective Christopher Rising said in a statement. Since acquiring the property in 2013, Rising has made upgrades to the office property. “Within the region there are very few contiguous spaces of this size and quality,” said Heyn in a statement. “We are seeing many companies in this region in search of functional, contemporary office space that they can use to create an efficient work environment to attract and retain talent in today’s highly competitive labor market. The Park Calabasas checks all those boxes.”
