Apex Deals for Tony Hawk

Apex Global Brands announced late last month several licensing agreements that will widen the availability of its Tony Hawk clothing brand. The apparel and footwear company based in Sherman Oaks signed a deal with Star Ride Kids, a children’s clothing manufacturer based in New York, to carry Tony Hawk brand clothing and accessories for boys. “We are pleased to team up with Star Ride Kids to drive product category expansion for Tony Hawk. We look forward to building a successful, long-term partnership,” said Chief Executive Henry Stupp in a statement. The company also signed a deal to debut the higher-end Tony Hawk Signature Line collection in New York City streetwear stores Reign and 10 Corso Cosmo. This deal, effective Aug. 29, marks the first time the signature line has been available for purchase in stores in the U.S. The collection comprises t-shirts, hoodies and sweatshirts featuring images of Hawk shot by renowned photographer Anton Corbijn. Items are also available on Reign’s website. The signature line debuted in Europe, the Middle East and Africa earlier this year through a licensing agreement with Batra Group, an apparel sourcing, licensing and distribution enterprise based in London.
