Since New Year’s Day, Douglas Emmett Inc., the Santa Monica-based owner of Warner Center Towers, has undertaken a renovation of the lower and mezzanine lobbies at 21550 Oxnard St. in Woodland Hills. According to placards placed on easels in each lobby, the renovations include new stone flooring, frosted white glass, new contemporary seating, clear glass railings and a new electronic directory. The project will also include a pendant light feature that will hang from the mezzanine floor down to the lower lobby. The building’s ground floor houses Trejo’s Cantina restaurant. It is one of five Warner Center Towers totaling nearly 2 million square feet it totals 228,000 square feet and opened in 1989.This story hits close to home as the Business Journal offices are on the building’s fifth floor.
