Fruit packer Limoneira Co.
has appointed Jesus Loza and Amy Fukutomi to its board. Loza grew up on Limoneira’s ranch in Santa Paula and later founded Freska Produce, a distributor of mangos and other fruit. Fukutomi is a former executive at Amgen Inc. who started Oxnard Lemon Co., which was acquired by Limoneira. “My experience, literally from the ground up, has been in agriculture, and I’m confident that I can provide guidance to Limoneira on startups and acquisitions, as well as operations,” Loza said in a statement. … Noel Watson has joined LegalZoom as chief financial officer. Prior to working at the Glendale online legal service, Watson served as chief financial officer at TrueCar Inc. in Santa Monica. “With Noel’s appointment, we have a strong management team in place to deliver on our vision of being a customer-centric, product-led business focused on democratizing law,” Chief Executive Dan Wernikoff said in a statement. … Nate Cox has assumed the newly created role of chief business officer at Lief Labs in Santa Clarita. Cox previously served as vice president of sales and marketing for the supplement manufacturer.
