Allan Falk, owner of Post Haste Digital & Post Haste Sound Inc., has purchased a creative office and post-production facility in Burbank for $2 million, according to brokerage Avison Young.
The studio at 3809 W. Burbank Blvd. features sound proofing and eight post-production rooms, plus four offices. The 1952-built property has a total of 2,475 square feet.
The facility also benefits from proximity to the Burbank Media District and the 170 freeway.
Avison Young Senior Vice President Blake Olson represented buyer Falk, who will plant his post-production business at the site, in addition to leasing out the building’s post-production rooms to other parties.
Tay Hasselhoff of Compass represented the seller, Beaven Enterprises, which had renovated the property in 2018 by transforming the asset into a high-end boutique music production facility for rental purposes.
“Burbank has been growing in popularity in recent years as a more economical L.A.-area submarket for production and media companies as compared to surrounding submarkets,” Olson said in a statement. “My client’s production business’ headquarters is in Culver City and we conducted an extensive search for a satellite location to keep up with the growing demand for Allan’s client base near the large studios in Burbank. This property was a perfect fit.”
