NFL Star Launches Upscale Card Shop

From pigskin to Pokemon: Pro football player Cassius Marsh has a new game – a new card shop in the Conejo Valley.The Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker has opened Cash Cards Unlimited, which sells such popular gaming products as Magic: The Gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh! and Pokémon. The shop is located at located at 31320 Via Colinas in Westlake Village.

TCGplayer, an East Coast-based online technology platform serving the collectibles industry, has entered into an exclusive partnership with Marsh. TCGplayer will support Cash Cards Unlimited’s inventory management system, providing end-to-end e-commerce services from listing to fulfillment.

As for inventory, Cash Cards Unlimited offers curated cards personally selected by Marsh and his team of experts, according to the joint venture. The store provides exclusive card packs as well as offers guidance for beginners seeking to enter the hobby of collecting.On the shop’s website, in a section titled “Bank Breakers,” one pack of black-bordered Onslaught cards from the Magic game runs as high as $2,700. A mid-range offering is the Eternal Masters collection for $500. Beginners can choose booster packs in the $25 to $45 range.“I am excited to partner with TCGplayer, which has been instrumental in accelerating our launch plans for Cash Cards Unlimited, due to the power and ease of its Pro Seller offerings and Direct platform,” Marsh said in a statement.

Marsh, a seven-year NFL veteran who played in college at UCLA and attended Oaks Christian School, said the Cash Cards Unlimited business grew out of his passion for collectible card games and his desire to shape the next generation of card players and collectors. “I’m thrilled to bring the magic of collector and strategy gaming cards to my hometown and look forward to introducing more hobby enthusiasts to Magic: The Gathering, Pokémon, Yu-Gi-Oh! and our curated selection of limited-edition sports cards.
