The evening before the Oscar Awards, Motion Picture & Television Fund in Woodland Hills held a virtual fundraiser called a “Night Before” party. and LeAnn Rimes. … TubeBuddy, the YouTube creator management division of BEN Group in Sherman Oaks, has declared a new holiday on April 23, the date the first video was uploaded to YouTube. International Creator Day will “celebrate the social media and content creator community,” according to the company. “We are in the golden age of content and art, with more creators and artists turning to platforms like YouTube to express their creative talents,” Ricky Ray Butler, chief executive of BEN Group, said in a statement. “We hope this holiday inspires everyone to recognize the ways creators and influencers have impacted their lives.” … Tejon Ranch Co. has appointed Marc Hardy as general counsel. He previously served as of counsel at Buchalter Law Firm in Irvine, and prior that worked nearly 20 years for A.G. Spanos Cos., where he developed expertise in real estate, land use and environmental issues. “He has a depth of experience and knowledge that will serve us well as we continue to move forward with our real estate development efforts,” Chief Executive Gregory Bielli said in a statement. … Jim Steffen is the new executive vice president of default services at real estate firm Timios Holdings Corp. in Westlake Village. He previously founded Crestview Asset Management in 2017 after serving 12 years as president of Phoenix Asset Management. He has managed the disposition of more than 100,000 residential default and foreclosed properties. … PS Business Parks Inc. has added two directors to its board, including recently appointed Chief Executive Dan “Mac” Chandler III. Prior to assuming the top job last month, Chandler served as chief investment officer at Regency Centers Corp. The other new director at the Glendale REIT is Irene Oh, chief financial officer at East West Bank. “With Mac’s deep experience in real estate investment and Irene’s extensive financial and banking expertise, they will both bring valuable perspective to our board,” Chairman Ronald Havner Jr.
