Digital patient engagement company Rabble Health has made four additions to its advisory board with the onboarding of Mitch Ross, former vice president of individual and family plans at Kaiser Permanente; process innovation researcher Brad Power, biotech marketing veteran Diana Porter Bodden and epidemiologist Dr. J. Michael Sprafka.
The Thousand Oaks company’s primary business revolves around its free health care app, myRabble, which provides cancer patients with personalized and professional care and gives them curated information on their treatment options.
The company’s four appointments were all announced in August.
Ross, a Camarillo resident, currently holds multiple advisor/mentor positions at University of California – Santa Barbara California Lutheran University and Zapnito, an online community platform. “I am very excited to join the RabbleHealth team and support their work to empower patients and their families when making shared decisions about their health care,” Ross said in a statement.
Power is the founder of CancerHacker Lab, an organization that supports patients and startups with “hackathons” – people who come together to solve problems related to cancer.
“We enthusiastically welcome Brad and are eager to leverage his vast professional experience in process engineering and organizational dynamics to re-engineer and accelerate precision oncology pathways and streamline journey navigation for people diagnosed with cancer,” Aubrey Kelly, Rabble’s chief executive, said in a statement.
While Power brings experience in process engineering, Bodden provides the board with a deep understanding of commercializing and managing biotech and diagnostic brands.
Sprafka is a former executive director for Amgen Inc.’s Center for Observational Research and has more than a decade of experience in epidemiology and pharma economics.
