The Air Group has added two new planes to its fleet at Van Nuys Airport, the company announced. The planes are a 14-seat Gulfstream G550 and Legacy 600, a mid-sized jet seating up to 13 passengers. The Air Group will charter the planes when their owners are not using them, offsetting a large portion of their cost. “These new jets offer the highest quality and most luxurious amenities that our clients have come to expect from The Air Group,” said company President and CEO Jon Winthrop, in a statement. The firm announced early this month it is building a new office building and terminal at Van Nuys.
