Sherman Oaks-based Baseline Consulting has selected Casting for Recovery, a national educational and support program for breast cancer survivors, as a charity partner for this year. Baseline employees voted to support the Vermont non-profit organization, which will receive a portion of Baseline’s 2004 profit. Casting for Recovery holds fly-fishing retreats around the country for breast cancer survivors, the retreats incorporate counseling and educational services. “I would like to thank the employees at Baseline Consulting for their generous, and totally unexpected financial contribution in support of our work,” said Seline H. Skoug, executive director of casting for recovery. “This tremendous contribution will make a significant and immediate difference.” Employees at Baseline, an IT services company, vote every year to support two charities. The other choice for 2005 was the Sierra Club.
