Blue Cross of California announced it is offering Blue View Vision to small businesses with fewer than 50 employees and large businesses with up to 4,999 employees. The coverage can be purchased with a medical plan or on its own. It will provide access to a national network of providers, and the ability to combine vision and medical coverage into one bill, among other benefits. Coverage can cost as little as $7 per employee per month, according to a company release, or a few dollars more to cover a spouse or child.
