Cal Lutheran Receives $1.5 million Gift

California Lutheran University has been given a $1.5 million donation by businessmen Corky and Steve Ullman for a new baseball stadium. The 308-seat stadium at Anderson Baseball Field will be named Ullman Stadium. Both brothers graduated from the university in Thousand Oaks and are long-time supporters of the baseball program. The Ullmans own and manage Grant Parking, Inc., a diversified portfolio of business enterprises including Ullman Bros. Land and Cattle Co. and Ullman Partners LLC. Corky Ullman serves on the university’s board of regents. “We feel very strongly about the importance of the new athletics complex at CLU,” Steve Ullman said. “Having new, first-class facilities allows CLU to excel not only academically but athletically as well.” The Ullman family also endows a scholarship program at the university.
