Capstone Turbine Corp. signed a new agreement to distribute its microturbine energy systems for the oil and gas sectors in China. Executives with Chatsworth-based Capstone finalized the agreement with Shanghai Tech-Steel Petroleum & Natural Gas Technology Development Co. Ltd. during a visit by the U.S. Clean-Energy Trade Mission. Shanghai Tech-Steel has a proven track record in working with the major players in oil and gas in China, said Jim Crouse, executive vice president of sales and marketing for Capstone. Shanghai Tech-Steel has five offices in mainland China and more than 20 representatives with established relationships with a variety of oilfield design institutes.
