Capstone Turbine Corp. today reported it lost $11.8 million or $0.12 per share for the fourth quarter ended Mar. 31, compared to a loss of $10 million or $0.12 per share in the like period last year. The Chatsworth-based producer of microturbine systems said revenues for the fourth quarter rose 40 percent to $7.6 million. For the full year, Capstone lost $47.1 million or $0.50 per share, compared to a $39.5 million or $0.47 per share loss in the prior fiscal year. The company’s revenues rose to $24.1 million, compared to $17 million in fiscal 2005. In a press release Capstone President and CEO John Tucker said the company hopes to generate positive cash flow by the end of the first quarter of fiscal 2008.
