Cherokee Inc. is continuing to expand its relationships outside the United States with a licensing deal struck on behalf of Hot Kiss. The Van Nuys based company has arranged an exclusive international distribution agreement for the apparel manufacturer with Liwa Trading Enterprises LLC, a Middle East retailer operating in the United Arab Emirate, Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, Yemen, Oman, Jordan, Lebanon and Saudi Arabia. Hot Kiss, a privately-held, $50 million fashion apparel company based in L.A., will produce juniors and girls apparel, accessories and footwear for the Middle East retailer. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. This is the second international licensing deal Cherokee has struck for Hot Kiss. The company also holds a licensing agreement with Zhejiang Xuege Fashion Co. Ltd. in China.
