Burbank-based DIC Entertainment, independent brand management company and AOL, online kids network, KOL will partner to co-produce programming “KOL’s Saturday Morning Secret Slumber Party on CBS” premiering September 16, 2006. The programming block of shows that DIC and KOL will co-produce includes “Dance Revolution”, a dance competition series based on the video game franchise. DIC and KOL will develop an interactive website based on the line-up of programs for the 2006 season. “Kids today continue to expand their entertainment options beyond television and our new partnership with KOL will provide us with a tremendous opportunity to reach kids through the launch of the new Saturday morning programming block on CBS as well as through KOL’s growing online destination,” said Andy Heyward, chairman & CEO, DIC Entertainment.
