In Memoriam Three San Fernando Valley business executives were among the passengers on the airplanes hijacked by terrorists on Sept. 11 that crashed into the World Trade Center in New York and the Pentagon. — Dr. Yeneth Betru, 35, director of medical affairs at IPC-The Hospitalist Co. in North Hollywood and a staff member at Providence St. Joseph’s Hospital in Burbank, was a passenger on American Airlines Flight 77. — Edmund Glazer, 41, vice president of finance and administration and chief financial officer for Chatsworth-based MRV Communications, was a passenger on American Airlines Flight 11, bound from Boston to Los Angeles, which crashed into the World Trade Center. — Dora Menchaca, 45, associate director of clinical research at Amgen Inc., was also a passenger on American Airlines Flight 77, from Washington, D.C. bound for Los Angeles, which crashed into the Pentagon.
