BURBANK , Annie Kirakosyan has seen firsthand the effects of recent layoffs and business closures while working at the Burbank Workforce Connection as a position work trainer. The Burbank Workforce Connection is a free job-resource facility and business assistance center where clients can use the fax machine, phones, computers and copy machine for job searches. With six job search computers and a growing pool of unemployed, center officials said they have struggled the last few months to keep up with demand. For the full story click here
