K-Swiss Earnings Down

Sports apparel manufacturer K-Swiss posted a decline in first-quarter earnings, the company announced. The company earned $24.9 million or 70 cents per share for the quarter ending March 31. That is down $1 million compared with the same time period from 2005 when earnings were $25.9, or 72 cents per share. Quarterly revenues dropped to $149 million as compared to $153 million from the same quarter in 2005. K-Swiss, based in Westlake Village, designs, develops and markets athletic footwear and casual wear.
