KB Toys filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection, indicating that it would immediately begin going-out-of-business sales in all of its locations. Among the sites to close are one outlet store in Camarillo, a KB Toyworks freestanding store in Sherman Oaks, and locations in the Burbank Town Center, Glendale Galleria, Northridge Fashion Center, Antelope Valley Mall, Canyon Plaza in Sun Valley and the Sun Hill Shopping Center in Sunland.
