MRV Communications has asked for a hearing over non-compliance with NASDAQ rules for a delay in filing a quarterly financial report. The Chatsworth-based provider of optical equipment and network services did not meet the June 30 deadline for the report due to an ongoing review by a special committee of stock option practices. Filing a letter for a hearing before the NASDAQ Listing Qualifications Panel will allow MRV shares to remain traded on the NASDAQ until the panel makes a decision.
