NEWSMAKERS Finance Natalie Neiman has been named financial consultant for the Sherman Oaks-based branch of Salomon Smith Barney. Neiman will oversee investment services and financial planning for the branch, with a focus on retirement, education planning, money and portfolio management for individual investors and business owners in the community. Health Net Inc. announced that Edward Wendt has been named senior vice president and chief information officer. Insurance Robb Greenspan, a partner with the Encino-based The Greenspan Co./Adjusters International, has been elected to serve as president of Los Angeles-based The Guardians for the Jewish Homes of Greater Los Angeles, based in Reseda. Marketing Agoura Hills-based Bugz Design For Marketing has named Sam Dalton as director of marketing services. Dalton previously ran his own company, Dalton Communications, representing firms such as PacifiCare of California and Reebok International. Real Estate Lena Quezada and Lyn O’Kane, both sales representatives for Irvine-based Taylor Woodrow Homes, Inc., have been honored with “Top Rated Sales Person in Southern California” awards by Homebuyers for Excellence in Customer Sensitivity in connection with their work representing sales at Taylor’s Valencia-based Presideo at Woodlands luxury housing project. Bruce Willison has been appointed to the board of directors for Westlake Village-based Homestore Inc. Willison is dean of The Anderson School of Management at UCLA. Willison previously served as chief operating officer for the H.F. Ahmanson & Co., parent firm of Home Savings of America and has held key executive positions at First Interstate Bancorp and First Interstate Oregon. Technology Chatsworth-based Computrition, Inc. has announced the appointment of Scott R. Saklad as chief operating officer.
