Calabasas-based National Technical Systems, Inc. has announced increased earnings for the third quarter of its fiscal 2006, reporting an 85 increase in net income to $590,000, as compared to $319,000 for the same period in the prior year. The company also reported that its net income for the nine months ended October 31, increased 63.8 percent to $1.8 million, as compared to $1.1 million for the same period in the prior year. Total revenues for the third quarter of fiscal 2006 increased 8.2 percent to $28.5 million, compared to $26.4 million for the same period in the prior year. Total revenues for the nine months ended October 31, increased 2.1 percent to $82.7 million, compared to $81 million for the same period in the prior year.
