Former state assemblyman Fabian Nunez has been added to the board of directors for Zenith National Insurance Corp. (NYSE: ZNT) based in Woodland Hills. Although financial details of the position were not disclosed, in 2007, two other directors were paid from $203,316 to $237,566 including cash, stock and other compensation. As California’s Speaker of the Assembly, Nunez received an annual salary of approximately $130,000. In addition to the Zenith directorship, Nunez joined Mercury Public Affairs as a partner and co-chair of the Sacramento office, effective Dec. 1.
