Music content from rehearsals.com will be available to mobile customers starting in May following an agreement with g8wave, the company announced. The agreement with g8wave gives Burbank-based rehearsals.com a new revenue stream and secures wider exposure for its featured artists. “What we are seeing is a shift in how fans consume music,” said Tommy Nast, executive vice president with CenterStaging Corp., owner of rehearsals.com. “Where rehearsals.com gives fans an insider’s view into some of the most intimate and engaging artist performances, g8wave lets us deliver those pieces directly to the user, wherever he or she is.” G8wave is part of the Phoenix Media/Communications Group and has offices in Los Angeles.
