The state Department of Housing and Community Development department has approved the final boundaries for the new Santa Clarita enterprise zone. The zone applies to more than 97 percent of the commercial, business and industrial zoned land in the city. Click here to view the map. Businesses within the zone receive certain financial incentives, tax savings and other benefits. The boundaries are slated to receive final approval July 1. The city is also planning to launch a enterprise zone website for businesses. The Santa Clarita zone is one of 23 announced by the governor’s office last year.
