Superior Industries International Inc. received the World Excellence Gold Award from the Ford Motor Co., the company announced. The award recognizes suppliers excelling in quality, cost and delivery. Van Nuys-based Superior supplies aluminum wheels to major car manufacturers, including Ford, General Motors, Audi and Toyota. Ford has been one of Superior’s most important customers for over 30 years, said company President and CEO Steven Borick. “We are committed to continuing to meet Ford’s quality, price and delivery requirements and helping them deliver satisfaction to their customers for years to come,” Borick said.
