Warner, Martial Arts League Reach Distribution Agreement

Warner Home Video and The International Fight League Inc. have reached an agreement for exclusive worldwide home entertainment distribution, the companies announced Monday. With the agreement, Burbank-based Warner Home Video becomes the exclusive worldwide distributor of IFL content including sanctioned league and championship fights and IFL specials and events. The first IFL title is set for release in the third quarter. WHV plans to distribute no less than four new programs each year for the next three years. Titles will vary from complete matches to year in review, fighter profiles and best knockouts. IFL is the first professional mixed martial arts sports league. “The IFL has done an exceptional job launching this new format of mixed martial arts and we look forward to building a long lasting relationship and producing quality home video that the fans will want to add to their collection,” said Jeff Brown, senior vice president and general manager, TV and franchise with Warner Home Video, in a statement.
