Conejo Valley Firm Adds Shareholders

Sharlene Lee and Reema Kapoor have been elected as shareholders of Nevers Palazzo Packard Wildermuth & Wynner Law Firm, the company announced in April.Lee joined the Westlake Village firm in 2012, practicing business litigation and employment law. Her litigation specialties involve trade secrets, unfair competition, privacy, defamation, breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, fraud, shareholder derivative claims and real estate disputes, the firm said.Lee also advises employers and executives on trade secret misappropriation, hiring and termination issues, executive compensation and severance agreements, whistleblower claims, discrimination and  harassment.Through the firm, Lee hosts employee and supervisor sexual harassment and discrimination prevention training. She is a 2018 National Asian Pacific American Bar Association Leadership Advancement Fellow, past president of the Asian Alumni of UCLA, and board member of the Southern California Chinese Lawyers Association.“I am honored to be elected shareholder and excited to continue to develop our business litigation and employment practices,” Lee said in a statement.Kapoor started her legal career in Canada before joining the firm and moving up the ranks. She has advised on M&A transactions with an aggregate transaction value of nearly $1 billion, according to the firm.Kapoor counsels clients in private placements, equity and debt financings, restructurings, corporate governance and as an outside general counsel, in addition to her M&A work.She is a Ventura County Asian American Bar Association board member and volunteers for South Asian community and fundraising events; she plays an active role in her daughters’ Girl Scout troops.
