Loop Media Deal to Air Fight Scenes

Short form video distributor Loop Media Inc. announced last month it was partnering with Fite TV, a digital network for global combat sports and entertainment.

Financial terms of the deal between Loop Media in Glendale, and Fite TV, in Uniondale, N.Y., were not disclosed. As of December 2020, Fite TV had more than 4 million registered users worldwide.

The partnership will allow Loop Media to bring thousands of hours of live and on-demand free programs to millions of fans its Loop for Business service, the company said in a release.Greg Drebin, chief content and marketing officer for Loop, said that in the company’s never-ending quest to make Loop for Business the ultimate service for clients, it was thrilled to add Fite TV content.

“Fite is a fantastic and exciting new partner,” Drebin said in a statement. “They are a world class producer and provider of high-quality programming and the Fite content opens a compelling and dynamic new category for us and our clients.” Fite is a leading distributor of pay-per-view shows, such as the Mike Tyson-Roy Jones Jr. boxing match in November, Celebrity Championship Boxing, Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship, as well as other programming in esports, concerts, soccer and motorsports.Loop Media distributes continuous running short videos to businesses such as restaurants, bars and airports.

It operates multiple channels for music videos, sports highlights, humor, travel and lifestyle, viral videos and movie trailers.Louis Lewow, vice president of distribution at Fite TV, said it was exciting to be added to Loop Media’s video distribution network.“Loop Media has built a terrific footprint for consumer awareness and engagement, which will allow us to promote our content offering, and attract new fans to our brand,” Lewow said in a statement.
