Orthopedics Group Opens Conejo Office

Group practice Ventura Orthopedics has a new facility in Thousand Oaks, continuing its more than 20-year presence in the region.

The new facility comes after Ventura Orthopedics previously shared a Thousand Oaks medical office space with another group near Los Robles Regional Medical Center.

“Now with this new stand-alone building on Thousand Oaks Boulevard, we’re able to have our physicians and therapy services under the same roof instead of down the hall from each other,” Andy Conli, Ventura Orthopedics’ business development manager, wrote to the Business Journal in an email.

The practice has other locations throughout and near the Valley region, such as Ventura, Oxnard, Camarillo, Simi Valley and Westlake Village/Oak Park.

The cost of the new facility was not disclosed.

“In total, we have eight physicians who practice there with all of the orthopedic specialties being covered – general orthopedics, sports medicine, joint replacement, foot and ankle, knee, hip, hand and wrist, elbow, shoulder, neck and spine, pain management, fracture care,” Conli wrote.

The full-service location at 137 Thousand Oaks Boulevard also has five physical therapists and two hand therapists.More than 50 staff members work at the facility. The building features new services such as wide-bore MRI, fluoroscopy and UrgentOrtho, a walk-in orthopedic urgent care, according to Conli.

Conli wrote that the facility has its own parking lot, which is a small but critical feature for patients.
