Stocks were slightly down for the two-week period ended Feb. 27. The Dow Jones Industrial finished the period up 0.7 percent while the S&P 500 finished down -0.3 percent. The NASDAQ finished down 1.1 percent, while the Valley 50 Index was essentially flat. The best local performer was Netsol Technologies Inc., up 34 percent, with BNK Petroleum Inc. the second best performer, up 26 percent. The worst local performers were Dercycz Scientific, and On Assignment Inc., down 14 percent and 13 percent, respectively.
