Stocks reacted positively to good economic news during the two-week period ended Nov. 12. The Dow surpassed 17,000 with a 3.8 percent increase, while the Valley 50 rose 2.9 percent. Auto leasing software firm NetSol Technologies Inc. was the top gainer with an increase of 18 percent as it beat analyst estimates even as its net loss widened. Among the highest losers was energy crop developer Ceres Inc. with a 19 percent decrease after moving to the Nasdaq Capital Market. ImmunoCellular Therapeutics Ltd. also had a decrease of 19 percent after reporting a $1.9 million net loss.
