Wells Fargo announced the launching of Wells Fargo Mobile SM service, a mobile banking service. Customers can use the service to check balances on their accounts, view transaction history and transfer money between Wells accounts. The latest introduction follows the launch in May of Wells CEO MobileSM, a mobile service for businesses. Wells is also working with VisaUSA to begin testing contactless payments through its mobile service. The launch date for that service has not been announced.
