Camarillo Strip Mall Sells for $4.8 Million

An 8,000-square-foot retail center in Camarillo has sold for $4.8 million, according to brokerage NAI Capital. Camarillo Town Center is located at 415 W. Ventura Blvd. Built in 2020, the strip mall is anchored by T-Mobile and incudes tenants Subway, Lindora and Eye Glass Factory. At the time of the sale, the retail center was 100 percent leased. The property is situated as an out-pad to a Home Depot, directly off the 101 freeway. It is in a high traffic area surrounded by Target, Ross, Michael’s, Staples, CVS, Starbucks and Applebee’s. The commercial strip also benefits from the nearby Camarillo Premium Outlets. NAI Capital’s Senior Vice President Dave Maron with NAI Capital’s Investment Services Group represented the buyer, a private investor, in the transaction. YS Properties LLC sold the property. In a statement, Maron acknowledged the increasing challenges of completing transactions during the coronavirus crisis. “Closing this was extremely difficult in these tough and uncertain times,” he said in a statement. “Retail deals can and still happen. We closed it even with my buyer getting the virus two weeks before closing.”
