EXECUTIVE SUMMARY / THE PACESETTER – Largest Hotels

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY This year’s List features 45 local hotels and is ranked by total number of rooms. It is a very diverse group, spanning from larger, international chains that have upwards of 450 total rooms to smaller start-ups in the range of 50 total rooms. The top 3 hotels are Marriott and Holiday Inn’s Burbank locations and the Hilton in Universal City. Each hotel comes close to 500 total rooms each. The smallest hotel is the Coast Anabelle in Burbank with just 41 total rooms and the newest is The BLVD Hotel + Spa, which opened this past February on Ventura Boulevard in Studio City. – By Josh Dausch THE PACESETTER The largest hotel on the List this year is the Los Angeles Marriott Burbank Airport Hotel with 488 total rooms, located along Hollywood Way in Burbank. The hotel opened in 1981 and is in close proximity to Burbank Airport, major TV/movie studios and other Hollywood attractions. The hotel also features more than 50,000 square footage of indoor and outdoor meeting space, 1,200 parking spaces and an adjoining restaurant and cocktail lounge.
