Four-story Senior Housing Proposed for Sherman Oaks

Los Angeles-based Mercy Housing has submitted a proposal to redevelop the site of a 1940s triplex at 14534 Burbank Blvd. into a 55-unit apartment building earmarked as affordable housing for low-income seniors, according to an Urbanize.LA report. The four-story contemporary low-rise complex, designed by TCA Architects, will have a roof deck, rear yard, community room and 17-vehicle basement-level parking. No details on the budget or a timeline for the project were available. According to local reports, the Sherman Oaks Neighborhood Council have voted to support the project.
