Senior Housing to Replace Warner Center Trampoline Park

A Warner Center commercial building currently occupied by a trampoline park could be redeveloped into senior housing, according to plans filed with the city of Los Angeles. Calabasas-based RAM Property Management LLC owns the 1.33-acre site at 6033-6039 N. De Soto Ave. It was originally developed with a two-story tilt-up building in the early 1970s. Under the plans, the trampoline park will be leveled to pave the way for a seven-story, 188,000-square-foot senior care facility, replete with 86 independent living units, 74 assisted living units and 30 memory care guest rooms. The senior housing joins many residential developments in the heart of Woodland Hills. They include a pair of mixed-use developments from California Home Builders as well as Vela on Ox apartments, a five-story $70-million project with 379 units just completed by Fairfield Residential. Also in Warner Center, Spieker Senior Development Partners recently submitted plans to build 695 units of senior housing on a 17.5-acre site at Canoga Avenue and Burbank Boulevard.
